Terms & Conditions of Business - Challenge Recruitment Ltd

Rates

Our all-inclusive hourly rates cover wages, leave provisions, payroll tax, occupational superannuation, Work cover levy and administration costs. Challenge Recruitment Ltd handles group tax and issues PAYG payment summaries. Charges are made only for each hour or part thereof worked by the on-hire employee. There are no charges for meal breaks, sick leave or public holidays. Under the provision of the appropriate Award, EBA or AWA, on-hire employees must be engaged for the appropriate minimum period in any given day. Rates charged are subject to wage indexation adjustments and Award EBA or AWA and statutory variations and can be amended without notice. Where other awards/agreements apply, the provisions of that specific award/agreement will prevail.

Overtime Rates

Clients will be charged for authorised overtime as per the appropriate award/ agreement

Client Responsibility

Challenge Recruitment Ltd's on-hire employees shall be under your control and direction from the commencement of duties and for the duration of the assignment. You are responsible for authorising payment of wages and approving the standard of work carried out on your behalf. Whilst the on-hire employee is under your control and direction, any and all acts, errors or omissions, whether wilful or negligent or otherwise, are your responsibility, as a compliance with all statutory requirements relating to their employment.

The host employer will exercise all due diligence in providing details of the nature of work that Challenge Recruitment Ltd employees will be required to undertake.

The host employer will do all things reasonably practical to minimise the risk of injury and/or illness to all Challenge Recruitment Ltd employees in accordance with the relevant OHS Acts, Regulation's and codes of Practice as they apply.

The host employer will notify Challenge Recruitment Ltd as soon as practicable of incidents or accidents involving Challenge Recruitment Ltd employees.

The host employer will notify Challenge Recruitment Ltd prior to changing any tasks, including any plant, equipment or process involving any Challenge Recruitment Ltd employee.

The host employer will provide Challenge Recruitment Ltd employees with appropriate supervision whilst they are on the worksite.

Authority for Payment

All on-hire employees supplied by Challenge Recruitment Ltd are employees of Challenge Recruitment Ltd and shall be paid by Challenge Recruitment Ltd. Engagement of an on-hire employee shall be deemed to be acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Business. Time sheets submitted by a representative of your company will be deemed to be confirmation of hours worked and shall be used to calculate the wages for our on-hire employees and charges for services rendered.

Deferred Employment & Referrals

Should a Challenge Recruitment Ltd on-hire enter into any employment like relationship (such as permanent or contract employment, consultancy, sub-contractor, partnership or commission based) by you or any related person or Corporation on either a permanent or contract basis, an introduction fee will be due and payable. The fee will be 12% of the total gross annual package or anticipated income of the referred candidate. Should you require a Challenge Recruitment Ltd on-hire employee to commence any future assignment/s after completion of the current assignment, that on-hire employee will do so as a Challenge Recruitment Ltd employee. These conditions apply for a period of twelve months after the last assignment.

Terms of Payment

Our on-hire employees are paid weekly and, accordingly, our invoices must be paid within seven (7) days of the invoice.
